Hi to all Gospel Music Lovers
It is suddenly Summer 2016 and we are excited about our July 16th and 17th
Manitoba Gospel Music Jamboree. We have some old friends returning and some
exciting new artists here for their first visit. We have a pair of young family groups
coming, one being The Sundrops from Swift Current SK. as well as the Fraser Family
from Minnesota. We would encourage you to check their web pages to get to know
how wonderful their gifts and talents are. We also have Melodie Dawn Loewen from
the western MB area. Dawn brings a wealth of music experience after travelling to
many places over the years sharing His meaningful gospel message. From the Steinbach area we have the much loved Isaiah 6 and a restructured Soul Purpose. They are always big favorites and so welcome. We also have Manitoba music legend Stirling
Rannville with Yvette and his band. Their music and testimonies are inspiring to all.
Along with our solid hometown Dreamcatchers' who have written a number of new
Gospel songs in the last few years, we have the very talented Still Sanding group who amaze with their harmonies and instrumental performances. Janet Wiebe from St.Laurent is always inspiring with the old Gospel message that never grows old. It is always refreshing to have Hollis Brown on Saturday night. This year Rosalie Madden will be joining Wendel Koop and this should not be missed. Also back again is The Johnson Family who always bring great second and third generation Johnson harmony. We hope they will be joined by their great tenor and uncle or brother Brock. Lets see who all shows up.
Our own Elim Baptist Singers will open the Festival Saturday at noon if all goes well. We have great music, great food, and a free campground so we are looking forward to seeing many old friends and looking forward to making a lot of new ones. We're indoors so we go rain or shine but we are praying the Lord will bless us with great weather. We do this to glorify our Lord and Saviour always.
Bless You All
